Are we the bad guys here?

— Breanna

One member of the team seeks redemption and justice by convincing Leverage to con a developer out of an entire luxury apartment building.

The Client[]

Isabella, the daughter of Mateo, a construction worker who died when the building he was working on collapsed due to cost cutting by his boss, Jason Crawley.

(Harry sought out the client because he felt guilty about how he had sided against her in a case years previously and wanted to use Leverage resources to make things right. He did not initially tell this to the rest of the team.)

The Mark[]

Jason Crawley and Krista Moore-Crawley

Summary[]

Harry asks the team to help out a client he found whose father died in an unsafe building project. The people involved in the running the projects are Jason Crawley and his wife, Krista Moore-Crawley. It’s later revealed that Harry worked for Jason to cover up his business’ malpractices, and that’s why he wants to work the case to redeem himself for his wrongdoings. Together the team makes Jason believe that the building he lives in is unsafe and gets him to reveal his malpractices in a recording.
