Summary[]

During a raging forest fire, a firefighter (Jared) tries to phone his captain. His call doesn’t go through because his provider, Futurilogic, cut off his service to force him to upgrade his plan.

The head team of Futurilogic consists of: CEO Matt Sandry, CFO Cassandra Shin, Chief Engineer Aubrey Wolf, and Sam Woods. The Leverage team plans to get Matt’s inner circle to turn against him, exposing the money laundering they are doing. Breanna goes into the board office as a PR person. Through interviewing the main four, Breanna learns there was a fifth member of their group, Josh Stern, who died of seemingly natural causes. With some prompting from Sophie,  Breanna realizes the team is a polycule.

The Leverage team then fake a camp retreat for the team to go on. Parker seduces Sam away from the group. Sam wanders into the woods, where Parker/Lilith is caught up by a noose around her neck. Frightened, Sam runs off. With Sam missing, Matt starts worrying about being betrayed again. His fears are confirmed when he finds a piece of paper with “I betrayed Matt" in Sam's handwriting.

Aubrey offers to go for a walk with Matt to discuss feelings while Cassandra takes a nap. Cassandra wakes up to strange, ghostly radio noises with voices calling for help, and a porcelain doll riding a horse at the foot of the bed. Frightened, she runs away.

Returning to find Cassandra gone, Matt accuses her and Sam of conspiring to betray him. Aubrey tells Matt he’s an awful person to believe that about the people who love him. Aubrey then leaves.

In the cabin, Matt asks Breanna to help him use the fax machine to contact his bank. After doing so, Matt leaves for a walk and a snack.

Breanna hacks Matt’s computer and discovers Matt had Josh followed. Sophie figures Josh left because he learned about the money laundering. Breanna goes through Matt’s deleted files, and the team realizes that the poison oleander was used to make it appear as though he had a heart attack.

The team loses Aubrey in the woods and isn’t sure where she went. Parker finds an old trailer in the woods, where she finds an elderly couple tied up and gagged. They say they are the true owners of the camp. Eliot comes across a maintenance shed with North Korean assassins inside, having taken Aubrey. Eliot slips inside to save Aubrey and starts taking on the assassins. Parker soon joins to help him.

Matt starts attacking Breanna with the axe, realizing she is working against him too. Breanna runs into the woods, where Matt chases her, still wielding the axe. Sophie suggests that Breanna lead Matt to the shed to confront the assassins. Their plan works.

Back at base, the team reconvene. Matt has been arrested. Eliot tells Jared that Futurilogic’s days of throttling service are over. Aubrey is starting her own non-profit.

As the team heads out for dinner, arms around each other, Parker wonders if they are a polycule.
