Summary[]

Two masked thieves are running out of a museum after an alarm is set off with cops chasing them. When they run out of the museum, they run into a Brick & Basil food truck, where Liam and Mirabelle call Parker. They tell her that the job went sideways even though they did everything right.

Back at the New Orleans base, Parker has packed everyone’s bags, wanting to head to London to investigate why the London crew’s plan went sideways. She explains that the London team was attempting to steal the Rhodesian sceptre, taken from the royal family of Zambia. A proxy hired the team, the team vetted them, and everything was checked out. But the proxy disappeared, and the royal family knew nothing about it, so anyone could have hired the team to break into the Monarch Museum. Upon hearing the museum’s name, Sophie agrees that the team should go to London.

Before leaving, Sophie picks up Harry, overhearing him getting a job offer. She tells him she needs him for one last job as she’ll be swimming through her collateral damage.

The team finds the Wi-Fi shut off at the London museum and more guards placed around the building. They walk through the Hanover gallery, where Sophie tells Harry she convinced the duke of Hanover to donate his family collection. Past the gallery, they find that the crime scene must have occurred in the restoration room where Interpol is still hovering.

Breanna uses her flash while taking pictures of the art to distract a security guard while Eliot steals his badge. Together Breanna and Eliot go into the basement of the building. Breanna still can’t hack in, and Eliot pulls the alarm, drawing the security upstairs away from the crime scene.

Sophie and Parker steal another guard’s badge to enter the restoration room while Harry acts as a lookout. Harry notices a painting in the Hanover gallery, including a woman with a striking resemblance to Sophie. Inside the restoration room, Sophie and Parker find Greek death masks. They deduce that the London team was being used as a practice run for the actual heist to test the museum’s defences. Sophie believes the culprit to be her old mentor Ramsey as he forged one of the masks.

As the police return, Harry distracts them pretending to be an IYS agent. Sophie tells him he has to act more dismissive and mean, to which Parker asks if Sophie’s telling him to act like Nate. Harry is introduced to the Interpol agent in charge, Astrid Pickford. Both Parker and Sophie recognize the name, and Parker tells Sophie they need to get out of there.

The team uses Eliot’s friend’s joint to lie low and reconvene. Parker says Astrid chased her and Hardison across Europe, and she believes Astrid considers her a nemesis. Harry then asks Sophie how she knows Astrid. Sophie tells them that Astrid was the duke of Hanover’s daughter and her stepdaughter. Sophie hasn’t seen her in 20 years, but she has kept tabs on her, helping her out from time to time. Sophie says she left her marriage and stepdaughter behind to escape Ramsey. Sophie decides Ramsey is a loose end that she needs to stop.

Sophie calls up Billy the Gent, and she, along with Parker and Eliot, interrogate him. Billy tells them that the museum wants to sell the masks back to the Greek government and that Ramsey’s fake will be revealed once they’re authenticated. When the mask is revealed to be a fake, all of Ramsey’s other fakes will be able to get to be exposed as well, leading all back to him, and he’ll surely go to prison for his crimes. Sophie tells Billy he owes her for using her last time and tells him he has to help her to lure Ramsey out.

To get Astrid away, Parker resurfaces a Rembrandt she stole in Berlin, leaving behind a note to Astrid. Believing they drew Astrid away, the team goes in, but Astrid is still there. Caught off guard, Sophie quickly disguises herself as a restoration expert from Dubai.

Harry asks the museum coordinator how they knew of the heist beforehand, and Dr. Dunbar tells him that the police received an anonymous tip telling them Ramsey was going to rob the place.

The team decides to trap Ramsey in the restoration room and get him caught by Interpol. To do so, they decided to build a replica of the Hanover Gallery and restoration room on the floor above, away from Astrid. Ramsey will come with Billy to authenticate which mask he faked. But to get Ramsey there, they must first clear out the museum.

A plumber gets a call of issues in the building and finds a bomb in the basement that Eliot planted. The bomb team says disarming it will only take an hour, but Astrid doesn’t want to leave, still afraid of the thieves returning. Eliot takes out the explosive ordnance disposal guy to go undercover as one. Once undercover, Eliot extends the amount of time the team now has. The team puts covers on the walls to mimic the art being covered to protect it in case the bomb goes off.

As Billy shows Ramsey in, Ramsey starts to get suspicious. Sophie shows up to stop Ramsey from running off, explaining that she is there to protect herself. Ramsey then uncovers the portrait of Sophie, which, thankfully, the team made a replication of with Hardison’s printer. Parker also stole the Greek death masks, putting them in the fake restoration room.

Dunbar happens upon the exhibit the team built and thinks the museum is being robbed. Dunbar calls Astrid and Harry throws a tarp over him. Hearing Dunbar calling Interpol, Ramsey realizes it’s a trap and smashes his forged mask before punching Billy and running off. Sophie tells Billy he can go as his debt to her is paid off.

Astrid goes to investigate after Dunbar’s call and sees Parker holding a golden statue she stole earlier. Parker leads Astrid into Ramsey, where she also planted his forgery. Sophie knew along which one was fake, protecting it.

Astrid arrests Ramsey, saying that he destroyed her father.

Sophie notes the loose end of who called in the tip to the police. More police start swarming the building, and Sophie gets a call from Arthur. Sophie realizes instantly that it was Arthur behind everything. Arthur admits to having wanted to hurt Ramsey and knew Sophie was the only person talented enough to bring him down, so he used Astrid as bait for Sophie. He wanted revenge on Ramsey and Sophie, so while the team was taking Ramsey down, Arthur stole the Maharaja crown, hoping to pin the robbery on the Leverage crew. The team finds the Maharaja crown gone from its case, right as the alarms go off.
