Leverage International is the successor to Leverage Consulting & Associates. It was created as a result of the Leverage team encountering other groups following in their footsteps during the eight years after Nathan Ford's and Sophie Devereaux's departure.

Though still grieving for the death of her husband Nate a year prior, Sophie Devereaux was enticed into committing a robbery, which lead the Leverage International team meeting and assisting Harry Wilson in correcting the problems he caused as a corporate lawyer. Alec Hardison's foster sister, Breanna Casey, joined the team in her own quest to fix the world's problems. According to Sophie in The Turkish Prisoner Job the teams are sometimes led by a neuroscientist, doctor of philosophy, or a clock maker.

Parker oversees all the crews and acts as a leader or mentor for all of the crews. Hardison is considered the Brains of many of the international teams and chooses their jobs. Sophie also mentioned that Parker had a job she was setting up in Honduras.
