Billy the Gent is an old friend of Sophie’s, having worked as a part of Ramsey’s crew alongside her and Arthur.
History[]
Billy acted as the getaway driver when Ramsey’s crews’ art forgeries were discovered. Billy went to prison alongside Arthur but never blamed Sophie for it. [1]
The Pyramid Job[]
Billy the Gent, contacts Sophie, having heard she was in town through Arthur. He meets up with Sophie and Eliot after Eliot takes down some thugs. Billy says he needs Sophie’s help as his daughter, Miranda, has gotten involved in an MLM while struggling financially and pregnant. Billy guilts Sophie into helping him as he went to prison alongside Arthur.
Later, Eliot goes to investigate Billy, having not trusted him. Eliot makes Billy tell him about when Sophie got him, and Arthur arrested.
After taking down the MLM and helping Billy’s daughter Miranda, Sophie and Eliot go to confront Billy. They figured out that Billy was still working for Ramsey and used the con to get Ramsey a land contract from Richard Prosper.
The Museum Makeover Job[]
Sophie calls up Billy, and she, along with Parker and Eliot, interrogate him about what Ramsey is up to. Billy tells them that the Monarch Museum is going to some sell Greek death masks back to the Greek government, one of which Ramsey faked. Ramsey’s fake will be revealed once they’re authenticated. When the mask is revealed to be a fake, all of Ramsey’s other fakes will be exposed, leading all back to him. Ramsey will surely go to prison or worse once found out, which is why he was trying to steal it from the museum. Sophie tells Billy he owes her for using her last time and tells him he has to help her to lure Ramsey out.
Billy gets Ramsey to come to the emptied-out museum to show him which mask is the fake. As Billy shows Ramsey in, Ramsey starts to get suspicious. Sophie shows up to stop Ramsey from running off, saying she is there to protect herself.
Once inside the restoration room, Ramsey picks up his fake before overhearing commotion outside and hears the museum curator calling Interpol. Ramsey realizes he’s been led into a trap and smashes his forged mask before punching Billy and running off. Sophie tells Billy he can go as his debt to her is paid off, so Billy leaves.
